Welcome to the first blog post of the website. I was thinking about what should be my first blog post. Maybe something simple like describing my everyday life. Or more controversial like religion or even politics. There is the possibility of an entertaining post debut. But these topics seem more high-level and in some cases too intense for a debut for a website for no audience yet. So I decided to further explain the purpose of this website. Afterall, when you meet someone new, you introduce yourself and in a more professional setting you even state your job title and possible duties. Even brag a bit of some accomplishments, if any.
So let’s get on with it. So why does this website even exist? The main inspiration came from me working on my first book. I wanted to practice creating a site so if or when my book is ever published, I already have an idea how to have a website about my book. But even more importantly, it’s well known, books take time to write, edit, publish and market. So even if just one person buys and reads my book, he or she will be waiting for my next book. Not to spoil much, but my first will definitely end in a cliffhanger. So how will I satisfy this person’s reading needs while the next book comes out?
Well, welcome to your new source of reading material. JC29Designs, will have enough content for anyone wanting a reading fix while my next book comes out. Or even just waiting for my first book to come out. So what will my books even be about? That information to be revealed on a later date. I do not want to focus too much on providing information on a book far away from being published.
For now, just enjoy the content on JC29Designs. Speaking of which, why did I choose such a name? Simple, I view writing as a form of creating something new that never has existed. But I didn’t want to use the words creations or creator because some view such terms in relation to religion. I do not want to stir religion debates, at least not yet anyway. So I went with a similar term like Designs. It is more human-like, which I am.
So if i’m a human, why are there lions everywhere and no humans? Great question, it is simple, my stories not in this blog section, will most likely be fantasy. So why not create fantasy characters to represent JC29Designs. As for the letters and numbers, I will let that be a mystery. Only those close to me will have a much better understanding of why them.
What else can I say about the origins of the website besides restating it is a place for reading material one can access to be entertained while he or she waits for any of my books to be released, assuming they are ever published. Any more curiosity on its origins feel free to comment below.
